Saturday night was the end of the year banquet at the Burlington Country Club. This time every year we gather together as a department and a residency to say goodbye to both the preliminary interns and the graduating residents. We also take the opportunity to honor residents for their outstanding achievements and attendings for their educational commitment to the residency program. We drank, we mingled, we ate, we honored, and some of us danced. Below is a list of the awards given at the event.

The Frank L Babbott MD Memorial Award
(aka the Resident of the Year) for idealism and integrity, dedication to patient care, and commitment to the educational mission of the Department of Medicine went to Nadia Bambace.
The Harriet P Dustin MD Award
in recognition of acquisition of new knowledge through research performed during residency also went to Nadia Bambace.
